Beyond Dubai lies the UAE's exciting capital – Abu Dhabi. One minute you could be cheering on at the Formula One race and the next you could be walking by the undulating Corniche which overlooks the calm Arabian Gulf.  Alternatively, head to the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque. With its 82 white marble domes and thousands of inlaid columns, it is considered to be of the most important national architectural treasures of the country.

The Liwa oasis which is located along the south border of Abu Dhabi has some of the largest and most beautiful sand dunes in the world. It also leads to the legendary Rub Al-Khali (Empty Quarter), which is a vast expanse of desert that extends through Saudi Arabia and Oman, and is the site for great stretches of off-road driving.

The proudest achievement for Abu Dhabi yet is the Yas Marina Circuit, where the annual F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is held. Bang in the middle of the Yas Marina Circuit is The Yas Hotel, a five-star, signature hotel – the only one in the world to straddle an F1 circuit and breathtakingly built half on land and half over the Yas Marina. Some of the world’s top motor racing series are held at The Yas Marina Circuit, but it can also be used as a state-of-the-art mixed use venue that can be adapted to meet any high-end event, exhibition or conference.
